答：加行期心有差別故：聲聞期出心暫息故；緣覺不出即入修道，不暫息故。又如菩薩雖至十六，亦不制果。

Answer: Because there is a distinction in the expected state of mind during preparation: a śrāvaka expects to emerge and their mind temporarily rests; a pratyekabuddha does not emerge but directly enters the path of cultivation, their mind not temporarily resting. It is also like the bodhisattva, who, though reaching the sixteenth, does not establish a fruit.
