八、四道差別者，若望前後相望剎那具四，據義有別，體即不殊。若據別起四別行相，如出體辨。然唯無漏，可約剎那各具四道，剎那剎那可斷惑故，非有漏道。

Eighth, the distinction among the four paths: if viewed across successive kṣaṇas, one possesses all four; based on meaning there is a difference, but their essence is not distinct. If based on the distinct arising of their four distinct ākāras, it is as analysed in the presentation of their essences. However, only with respect to the anāsrava can one speak of each kṣaṇa possessing the four paths, because kṣaṇa by kṣaṇa defilements can be severed, unlike the sāsrava paths.
