答：彼為德本菩薩先問：於何、齊何立善巧菩薩？世尊為答：於此三性、齊此三性，施設善巧。非始問答所說三性。如《百法論》問答一切法，及以無我非先不說。

Answer: There, Bodhisattva Guṇākara first asked: "In terms of what, and to what extent, are skilled bodhisattvas established?" The World-Honoured One answered him: "In terms of these three natures, and to the extent of these three natures, skill is designated." It was not the beginning of questions and answers regarding the expounded three natures. Just as in the Treatise on the Hundred Dharmas the questions and answers regarding all dharmas and non-self were not previously unexpounded.
