一云前、後經說三性、無性，故今論云「即依此前」。「此前」兼二，依此論前，及依經前說三自性；觀生意樂密意趣故，後立無性。今此為會，顯不相違。

Another explanation says that the sūtras earlier and later expounded the three natures and naturelessness, so the present Śāstra states "relying precisely on this prior." "This prior" encompasses both: relying on what is prior to this treatise, and relying on the prior expounding of the three self-natures in the sūtras; out of intention (abhiprāya) observing the inclinations of sentient beings, he later established naturelessness. Now this is reconciled to show that they do not contradict each other.
