答：生死有二，由所知障墮於變易，變易即是化生所收，亦三界攝。又所知障非親滅生，為煩惱依，言難越等並無失矣。

Answer: There are two kinds of birth and death; due to the cognitive obstacle, one falls into transformation [birth and death], and transformation is included under apparitional birth, which is also subsumed under the three realms. Moreover, the cognitive obstacle does not directly produce birth, but it serves as the basis for defilements; saying that it is difficult to transcend and so on is completely without fault.
