按天親論云：以一切善根滿足故得阿耨菩提。復有疑，若一切善法滿足得阿耨菩提，則所說法不得大菩提。何以故？以所說法無記法故。此義不然，何以故？汝法是無記，我法是記；釋汝彼小乘薩婆多也，我法天親指自大乘。記即善性，有於當果及勝自體可記別故。

Examining Vasubandhu's treatise, it states: "Because all wholesome roots are fulfilled, anuttara-bodhi is attained." There is another doubt: "If all wholesome dharmas are fulfilled to attain anuttara-bodhi, then the Dharma spoken cannot attain great bodhi. Why is this? Because the spoken Dharma is an avyākṛta dharma." This meaning is not correct. Why is this? "Your dharma is avyākṛta, but my Dharma is vyākṛta." In explanation, "your" refers to that Hīnayāna Sarvāstivāda, and "my Dharma" is Vasubandhu referring to his own Mahāyāna. Vyākṛta is precisely the wholesome nature, because it has future fruits and an exalted self-substance that can be definitively predicted.
