汎爾常遍非自不許,今明我有,故自宗無成隨一也。今即因有所依不成,有法之我自不許有,常遍之因無所依故。
Generally speaking, 'permanent and omnipresent' is not something one does not admit oneself; but here, as it clarifies that the self exists, it is absent in one's own school, thus becoming unestablished for one [party]. Here, the reason has [the fallacy of] the substratum being unestablished (*āśrayāsiddha*): one's own school does not admit the existence of the self, which is the subject (*dharmin*); hence the reason 'permanent and omnipresent' lacks a substratum.
