「許」與「執」言，其義同也，是以論中但有「執」字。有云：解因明者共許，於彼他因喻上而置「執」言。

The words 'admit' (*abhyupagama*) and 'grasp/posit' (*grāha*) have the same meaning; therefore, only the character 'posit' occurs in the Treatise. Some say: Those who understand logic commonly admit that one places the word 'posit' upon the other's reason and example.
