答：彼論羅漢與和須蜜菩薩共修，為等菩薩，故下置「等」。等，異類故，此唯菩薩，故「等」在上。若「等」字安下，恐疑等彼異類聲聞。

Answer: That treatise was co-authored by Arhats together with the Bodhisattva Vasumitra; in order to include the Bodhisattva, "others" was placed below. "Others" is used because they are of different classes. Here there are only Bodhisattvas, so "others" is placed above. If the word "others" were placed below, one might suspect that it includes those of a different class, the śrāvakas.
