眼等五根體是現量。大等但是現量所緣，今置之言顯是依主，不言之為言境體即是現量。

The entities of the five sense faculties, such as the eye, are direct perception. The mahat and so forth are merely the objects grasped by direct perception. Now, inserting the particle zhi ('of') indicates that it is a tatpuruṣa compound; it does not say 'zhi' to mean that the entity of the object itself is direct perception.
