答：豈言不定唯祇一人，人既有多，悟亦前後，前後各以所證為是，互執何失？又縱一人執前後別，對執不同亦得稱互。

Answer: How could it be said that the indeterminate refers to only a single person? Since people are many, their awakenings also occur earlier or later. Those earlier and later each take what they have realized to be correct; what fault is there in their mutual clinging? Moreover, even for a single person, if their grasp changes between earlier and later, their differing clingings facing one another may also be called "mutual."
