准此液性不依地、火父母極微，可依水微，由此彼許液通常也。地等堅硬，父母之微無流液也，火如何無？非堅硬故。

According to this, fluidity does not inhere in parent atoms of earth and fire; it can inhere in water atoms, and thus they accept that fluidity is common [to the eternal and impermanent]. Earth and so forth are hard, so their parent atoms have no fluidity. How can fire lack it? For it is not hard.
