結申正義，文言總也。不以論云無實地等，即難於他色即是地。自五境分，色不即地，若難他者，有違宗失。

This concludes by setting forth the correct principle: the phrasing is general. One should not, merely because the Treatise says there is no real earth and so forth, challenge the opponent by saying that visible form is earth itself. In our own classification of the five sense objects, form is not earth itself; if one challenges the other with this, one incurs the fallacy of contradicting one's own tenet.
