答：耳即是空，故耳亦常；或是無常，如本微常所生子微是無常故。然前解勝，彼論說耳即是空，故與微義別。

Answer: The ear is space itself; therefore the ear is also permanent. Or it is impermanent, just as fundamental atoms are permanent while the produced subtle atoms are impermanent. However, the former explanation is superior; that treatise says that the ear is space itself, and is therefore different from the meaning of atoms.
