「數」字恐錯，應為「不」字。空、擇滅等雖不離心，不得將為喻。何所以者，空、擇滅等是佛法法，今就他宗以為比量，不可將自擇滅等法而以為喻。故《疏》言，就他宗比量釋所以也。若不爾者，前來何處有擇滅喻而云數也？

The word shu [repeatedly] is suspected to be an error and should be the word bu [not]. Although space, analytical cessation, and the like are not separate from mind, they cannot be taken as examples. Why is that? Space, analytical cessation, and the like are Buddhist teachings; now, when constructing an inference according to the other school, one cannot take one's own phenomena such as analytical cessation as examples. Therefore the Commentary says this to explain the reason in terms of an inference for the other school. If it were not so, where previously was there an example of analytical cessation such that it would say "repeatedly"?
