外作量云：所說有性離實等三，有別自體；除無說外餘六句中隨一攝故；如異等句。有云：有性、異、實等三定應別有；實等所不攝故；如同異性。

The opponent formulates an inference saying: "The stated universal of existence possesses a distinct intrinsic nature apart from the three of substance and so forth; because it is subsumed under any one of the remaining six categories excluding the non-predicable; just like the categories of distinctness and so on." Some say: "The universal of existence must definitely exist separately from distinctness, substance, and the like; because it is not subsumed under substance and so forth; just like the universal of similarity-and-difference."
