詳曰：觀論之意，令實、德、業同，同異性不別立性，此乃以實而同性例。又《疏》標云：難令離實等無同異性，今判論中以性同實，應筆誤也。

I examine this and say: Observing the intent of the treatise, it makes substance, quality, and motion identical [in being real], while for the nature of similarity-and-difference it does not separately posit a generic character; this is assimilating substance to the parallel of generic character. Furthermore, the Commentary formulates the heading: "Objecting that there is no nature of similarity-and-difference apart from substance and the like." Now judging that the treatise assimilates the generic character to substance must be a slip of the pen.
