此有二意：一云，若不直責爾者，他許德上有非實性，此乃相符。二云，若不總難九句之上而共立一大非實性，即有相符，他許諸德立非實故。若九句上大非實性，他即不許故無相符。前解為本。

This has two meanings: First, it says that if one does not directly reprimand them in this way, since the other accepts that non-substance-ness exists upon quality, this would be establishing what is already accepted. Second, it says that if one does not make a general objection to all nine categories and jointly posit a single great non-substance-ness, there would be establishing what is already accepted, because the other accepts positing non-substance-ness on the various qualities. If it is a great non-substance-ness upon the nine categories, the other does not accept it, so there is no establishing what is already accepted. The former explanation is primary.
