詳曰：不爾，延壽法者但由無漏資彼，故業豈許親生有漏果耶？又十王報諸處皆云因地前修，豈客地前已起無漏？設迴趣者，亦非無漏親感彼果，無漏不招三有果故。

In detailed consideration: This is not so. As for the dharma of life-prolongation, it merely involves uncontaminated dharmas nourishing that [past karma]; how could karma be permitted directly to produce a contaminated fruit? Furthermore, regarding the retribution of the ten kings, all texts state that it is cultivated before the stages (bhūmi); how could an ordinary being before the stages have already produced the uncontaminated? Even if they are those who change their direction, uncontaminated dharmas do not directly bring about that fruit either, because uncontaminated dharmas do not incur the fruit of the three realms of existence.
