2.1040

異生汎起諸心等時，此心即應名為無漏，以性淨故，如諸聖者無漏之心。若許爾者，即異生位起心之時應名聖者，以許起彼無漏心故。《疏》中文總故開之也。

Whenever ordinary beings generally give rise to various minds and so forth, this mind should immediately be called uncontaminated because its nature is pure, just like the uncontaminated mind of noble ones. If one accepts this, then when ordinary beings in their stage give rise to mind, they should be called noble ones, because it is admitted that they give rise to that uncontaminated mind.
