按《瑜伽論》五十四云：又復諸識自性非染，由世尊說一切心性本清淨故，所以者何？非心自性畢竟不淨能生過失，猶如貪等一切煩惱。

According to the Yogācārabhūmi, fascicle fifty-four: 'Furthermore, the intrinsic nature of all consciousnesses is not defiled, because the World-Honoured One said that the nature of all minds is originally pure. Why is this? It is not that the intrinsic nature of the mind is ultimately impure and able to produce faults, like all afflictions such as greed.'
