此難意云：如緣自相，為更變相方乃緣之？為更不變即能緣也？若不變者，便同正量，正量緣境不變相故，有部緣微亦無相故。餘准可知。

The meaning of this challenge is: When cognizing an intrinsic nature, does it further project an image before cognizing it, or does it cognize it immediately without projecting an image? If it does not project an image, it would be identical to the Sammatīya, because the Sammatīya cognizes an object without projecting an image, and the Sarvāstivāda cognizes atoms also without an image. The rest should be understood accordingly.
