答：聖教既云「以假想惠分折建立」，何有本質？有義：極微有二，一者本性；二影像相。言本性者，佛、大菩薩以神通力折彼大地而為極微，故名本性。

Answer: Since the holy teaching says "established through analysis by conceptual wisdom," how could there be a fundamental material basis? Some say: Atoms are of two kinds: first, the intrinsic nature (prakṛti); second, the reflected image (pratibimba). As for the intrinsic nature, Buddhas and great bodhisattvas, through supernatural power, break down that great earth into atoms; hence it is called intrinsic nature.
