Detailed assessment: Looking at the sense of this conclusion, its principle is not absent, but it is somewhat confused. What difference is there between 'transforming' and 'following along'? What is the distinction between 'proximate cause' and 'momentary origination'? Furthermore, there is no text that admits multiple sets of seven factors in the initial moment. Therefore, the rationale of the fourth explanation is the most superior, and the rest all have shortcomings, which one can understand by contemplation. Furthermore, with regard to newly perfumed [seeds] and so forth, there were previously eight explanations; applying the five explanations of the meaning of the seeds upon which the unmanifest relies to those previous eight, each having five, yields forty explanations. Their correctness or incorrectness can be known by inference.
