答：為二釋：一云因攝，雖因正取非異作用，色、心乃是所不異法，故在因收，正因依宗無倒依失；二云異喻，因應加云，許無慮、礙非異色、心及諸心所作用可得，便無不定，色、心異喻，有慮、礙故。二釋任取。

Answer: There are two explanations. The first says they are subsumed under the reason: although the reason primarily takes the non-distinct function, form and mind are the phenomena from which it is not distinct, and hence are included in the reason; since the valid reason relies on the subject, it has no fault of inverted reliance. The second says they are dissimilar instances: the reason should add, 'Accepting that it lacks cognitive deliberation and material resistance, no function can be apprehended that is distinct from form, mind, and the various mental factors'—then there is no inconclusiveness, because form and mind are dissimilar instances, as they possess cognitive deliberation and material resistance. Either of the two explanations may be adopted.
