按《瑜伽論》第十六，說有五種無：一、未生無，謂未來諸行；二、已滅無，謂過去諸行；三、互相無，謂諸餘法由所餘相，若遠離性，若非有性，或所餘法與諸餘法不和合性；四、勝義無者，謂由世俗言說自性，假設言論所安立性；五、畢竟無，謂石女兒等。

According to the Yogācārabhūmi, fascicle sixteen, five kinds of nonexistence are stated: first, nonexistence before arising, namely, future conditioned phenomena; second, nonexistence after cessation, namely, past conditioned phenomena; third, mutual nonexistence, namely, other dharmas through other characteristics, whether in the sense of separation, in the sense of nonexistence, or in the sense of other dharmas not being combined with other dharmas; fourth, nonexistence in the ultimate sense, namely, that which is established by conventional verbal designation and conceptual elaboration; fifth, absolute nonexistence, namely, the son of a barren woman and the like.
