但生得善種有其用即名成就，不要生現方始名為種子成就。有云：此論第八說於現行亦名為種，故今簡之。

As long as the seeds of innately acquired good have their function, that is called possession; they do not need to produce active manifestation to only then be called possession through seeds. Some say: 'Fascicle 8 of this treatise also calls active manifestations seeds, and so it is excluded here.'
