小乘失宗，本不以造而解於色，今者以造而為其難，故乖本宗。即就本計，更難彼云：質礙名為色，故能所造皆攝色，但相似故立同分。同分相似，何不有？

The Hīnayāna loses its tenet: originally they did not explain rūpa by means of primary creation (bhūta), but now they make their objection through primary creation, and thus contradict their original tenet. Going by their own tenet, one can further object to them: Impenetrability is defined as rūpa; therefore, both the primary elements and derived matter are subsumed under rūpa, and generic similarity is established merely on account of resemblance. Since generic similarity means resemblance, why should it not exist?
