此敘有宗難經部也。按《順正理》第十三云：若處無所引異熟內五色處，於彼或時，無業所引第六意處，謂於長時起染污識，或善有漏及無漏識相續位中，無業所引異熟分故，說何為命？

This relates the challenge made by the Sarvāstivāda school against the Sautrāntika. According to the Nyāyānusāra, fascicle thirteen: "If in a place there are no internal five physical sensory bases that are karmically matured, and at that time there is also no sixth mental sensory base projected by karma—namely, in a state where defiled consciousness, or wholesome sāsrava or anāsrava consciousness, arises in continuation over an extended period—since there is no karmically matured portion projected by karma, what can be spoken of as the life-faculty?"
