答：有兩說：一云若爾，一身即有六命，隨所依種而有六故；二說，依六滅生心同，事業等故。論說識種以劣從勝，如說唯心亦攝心所。又俱異熟，業所引故，如依五蘊立一同分。命依多種，體亦唯一。

Answer: There are two explanations. One says: If so, a single body would have six lives, because there would be six lives corresponding to the seeds upon which they are based. The second says: Based on the six, the cessation and arising of mind are identical and their activity is equal. The treatise specifies the seed of consciousness by subsuming the inferior under the superior, just as saying "cittamātra" also includes mental factors. Furthermore, since both are karmic maturations projected by karma, just as a single generic similarity is posited based on the five aggregates, even though life is based on multiple seeds, its substance is also singular.
