答：如男女二、三無漏根，以彼所依身根、九根小分為體，不名無屬。此但依彼種上假立，不是所依根之分故，名無所屬。

Answer: For instance, the male and female faculties and the three anāsrava faculties take a fractional part of their supporting physical faculty and nine faculties as their substance, so they are not called "having no belonging." This [life-faculty] is merely nominally established upon those seeds, not being a portion of the supporting faculty, and therefore is called "having no belonging."
