答：言無想定招彼果故，以微微種建立定故，以前非定，若取前心而減彼者，云何得說由定生彼？又彼別報而無其體，云何實種能招彼耶？故前解勝。有義：《疏》云微微心至各招一果，今不依彼者。

Answer: Because it is said that the non-conception absorption summons that fruit, and because the absorption is established by means of the extremely subtle seeds; since what precedes is not the absorption, if one took the preceding mind and reduced that, how could one say that one is born there due to the absorption? Moreover, that specific recompense lacks an entity; how could a real seed summon that? Therefore, the former explanation is superior. Another opinion says: As for the Commentary stating 'the extremely subtle mind... each summons one fruit; now we do not rely on that'—
