遮彼生等定別有故，與彼定別而作違，故名決定違，非是第六決定相違，決定相違改他宗法及因喻故。有云：第六雖不改，因亦得成故。

Because it negates that arising and so forth are definitely distinct realities, it forms a contradiction with their being definitely distinct, and is therefore called 'decisively contradictory' (viruddha-avyabhicārin), not the sixth inconclusive fallacy of decisive contradiction, because the decisive contradiction [fallacy] requires altering the opponent's thesis, reason, and example. Some say: even though the sixth does not alter them, the reason can still be established.
