答：尋名言智相分非無，順行解心能生本體，但於相上作青黃等、色聲等解，解心所緣此之共相體性是無，於自相上增益此故。更有問答，如章具辨。

Answer: The nimitta-bhāga of the cognition that investigates verbal designations is not non-existent; in accord with the mind of active cognitive understanding, it is able to generate the original substance. It is only that on the [perceived] image one forms understandings of blue, yellow, form, sound, and so forth; the substance of this universal characteristic that is the object of the understanding mind is non-existent, because it is superadded onto the particular characteristic.
