相似名近，大小俱說心為能取心即是識。有云：體即識故，談彼心王；稍相近故，說彼心所。

Being similar is called 'close.' Both the Great and Lesser [Vehicles] state that mind is the grasper; the mind is consciousness. Some say: because its substance is consciousness, it speaks of that primary mind; because they are somewhat close, it speaks of those mental factors.
