答：有二釋：一如疏辨；二云字成名、句等。言勢相續不相應，頌雖以句成，言勢間隔非彼攝。

Answer: There are two interpretations: One is as explained in the Commentary. The second says that syllables form names, sentences, and so forth; their verbal momentum is continuous and unassociated. Although verses are formed of sentences, their verbal momentum has intervals and is not subsumed under that.
