答：內香亦勤發，如聲得有名；外香同水林名，有何違理？由聞香等得生解故。

Answer: Internal scents are also generated through exertion, just as sounds can possess names; what contradiction of reason is there in external scents having names like [the sounds of] water and forests? Because through smelling scents and so forth, understanding can arise.
