問：若能合法，便難成多，豈不自教而見違耶？故《佛地經》云：譬如虛空雖遍諸色種種相中，而不可說有種種相，體唯一味，如來法界亦復如是，《解深密經》意亦同之。

Question: If one challenges it with dharmas that combine with it, it would be difficult to establish multiplicity; wouldn't this contradict one's own teaching? For the Buddhabhūmi-sūtra says: 'Just as space, although it pervades the various marks of all matter, cannot be said to have various marks, its substance being of a single flavor; the Tathāgata's dharmadhātu is also like this.' The intent of the Saṃdhinirmocana-sūtra is also the same.
