如《義燈》明。有云：有漏一識者唯第六識，因無漏二識者，妙觀、平等，對究竟果名為因也。果無漏三智者，唯是佛位，故名為果。

As explained in the Liaoyi deng. Some say: 'One defiled consciousness' is solely the sixth consciousness; 'two pure consciousnesses in the causal stage' are wonderful observation and equality, called 'cause' in contrast to the ultimate fruition. 'Three pure wisdoms in the fruition stage' refers solely to the stage of Buddhahood, hence called 'fruition'.
