The three, beginning with cessation through deliberation, each have a distinct substance. The hindrance to absorption is called agitation, which is distraction and movement. The unconditioned attained through cutting off this agitation is called the unshakeable. The three suchnesses—wholesome, and so forth—each have an individual substance, and in nature they are all wholesome. The path-factors and dependent origination are the same as in the Mahāsāṃghika school.
