有法宗言能取彼色，彼心外色，心外色法自宗非有，復非心取。今言取彼，故違自宗，宗置汝言亦無失矣。
The subject thesis states that it grasps that matter—matter external to the mind. Dharmas of matter external to the mind do not exist in one's own system, nor are they grasped by the mind. If one now says that it grasps that, it contradicts one's own thesis; but by placing "according to you" in the thesis, there is likewise no fault.
