下別破類、實，破類、實中皆指似、共。有義：初破依類似事不成，後破依實、共法不成，文自明說。然諸師說，依類依實，皆通破彼似事、共法，此定非理者。

Below, it separately refutes category and substance; in refuting category and substance, it points to resemblance and commonality in both cases. One opinion holds: The first part refutes the failure to establish that it is based on a category resembling an entity, and the second part refutes the failure to establish that it is based on a substance possessing a common dharma; the text itself explicitly says so. However, various masters say that both "based on category" and "based on substance" comprehensively refute both the resembling entity and the common dharma, and that this [first view] is definitely unreasonable.
