有義應作四句，有了境非相麁。第七、八識，有相麁非了境。六識心所，有俱非謂七、八心所。有俱句，第六心王，亦了亦麁故。

There is an interpretation that four alternatives should be made: There is understanding objects without the aspect being coarse: the seventh and eighth consciousnesses. There is the aspect being coarse without understanding objects: the caitasikas of the six consciousnesses. There is neither: the caitasikas of the seventh and eighth. There is both: the mental king of the sixth consciousness, because it both understands and is coarse.
