答：望生現種，不望現行所熏之種。又明第八，第八不熏，故望種非，不辨餘識故無過矣。

Answer: It refers to looking at the seed that produces the actual state, not looking at the seed perfumed by the actual state. Furthermore, it clarifies the eighth consciousness, and the eighth consciousness does not perfume; therefore, in relation to seeds it is not [a coexistent cause], and because it does not distinguish the remaining consciousnesses, there is no error.
