答：可爾。故《瑜伽論》九十六云：住自性界者，謂十八界墮自相續，各各決定差別種子。習增長界者，謂即諸法或是善、惡，於餘生中先已數習，令彼現行，故於今時種子強盛依附相續。由是為因，暫遇小緣便能現起，定不可轉。復次，以要言之，雖界種類十八可得，然一一界業趣有情種種品類有差別故，當知無量，三性各有多類差別。

Answer: This is acceptable. Thus the Yogācārabhūmi, fascicle 96, says: "'The dhātu that resides in its own-nature' refers to the eighteen dhātus falling within one's own saṃtāna, each having determinate and distinct seeds. 'The dhātu that is developed through cultivation' refers to the conditioned factors that are wholesome or unwholesome, which having already been repeatedly practiced in other lives have been caused to arise into activity; thus at the present time the seeds are powerful and attached to the saṃtāna. With these serving as cause, encountering merely a slight condition, they can immediately arise into activity and definitely cannot be altered. Furthermore, in brief, although eighteen dhātu classes are obtained, because the karma, destinies, and sentient beings of each individual dhātu have diverse varieties and differences, they should be known as measureless; and each of the three moral natures has multiple kinds of differences."
