答：因位第八唯是有漏，非有漏心所緣之相是真無漏，為此不緣。二云，既非見緣依自證分，自證分攝。若至無漏方相分收，淨見緣故。有義斷云：前解為勝，雖在因位非見所緣，是相分類，從餘相分，相分所攝。

Answer: The eighth consciousness in the causal stage is purely sāsrava, and an object-aspect cognized by a sāsrava mind cannot be truly anāsrava; for this reason it does not take them as an object. 2. Since they are not cognized by the darśana-bhāga, they rely on the svasaṃvitti-bhāga and are subsumed under the svasaṃvitti-bhāga. Only when reaching the anāsrava stage are they subsumed under the nimitta-bhāga, because a pure darśana-bhāga takes them as an object. A particular opinion judges: The former explanation is superior; although not cognized by the darśana-bhāga in the causal stage, they belong to the category of nimitta-bhāga, and by assimilation to other nimitta-bhāgas they are subsumed under the nimitta-bhāga.
