Answer: "Initially" is spoken in terms of the origin. For instance, a single greedy thought originally has only one seed, and this seed generates the active manifestation. Once the active manifestation has ceased, it continues to lead to and produce its own kind sequentially, until it is permanently severed at the antidote path; hence it is free from the faults of confusion or interruption.
