答：正取心王名為可熏體，第七豈非是心王耶？由此但以染污簡之。
Answer: It is specifically the primary mind (citta-rāja) that is taken as the substratum capable of being perfumed; is the seventh [consciousness] not a primary mind? For this reason, it is excluded merely on account of being defiled.
