此破伏執。執者說云：既言第八緣執習氣，何無執耶？故有斯責。

This refutes a concealed clinging. The clingers say: Since you say the eighth [consciousness] cognizes the grasping vāsanā, how could it lack grasping? Therefore there is this reproof.
