即自證分而緣見等，據此為難。能所作等並皆心故，故無差別。有云：約唯識難，不約四分。既唯是識，何因果等差別有耶？

That is, the svasaṃvitti-bhāga conditioning the darśana and so forth: the objection is based on this. Since the agent, the patient, and so forth are all equally mind, there would be no distinction. Some say: This objection is based on vijñapti-mātra, not on the four parts: since it is exclusively consciousness, how could distinctions like cause and fruit exist?
